Local transportation in Blanco

Accommodations for 7 nights
Dinner on two of the evenings (one evening students dine on their own in Blanco, and one evening we dine together at a San Antonio River Walk cafe.)
Pick-up and drop-off at the Austin Airport is available for a supplement of $125 for one person, or $150 for two people with the same pick-up and drop-off times.

American Pickers
Join as we celebrate the captivating world of “Pickers” in both music and art at the upcoming “American Pickers” exhibit June 1 – August 31, 2024. Spend an evening with the talented artists and film makers at the exhibit reception June 1, 2024, from 5-9 PM.
With nine visual artists contributing their interpretation of “Pickers” in a wide the range of mediums, this exhibit is sure to include something for everyone’s taste and interest. Plunge into the immersive experience “Deep Dive” and explore a world beneath the waves. Enjoy an inspiring excerpt from “The Real American” documentary sharing the story of Scott Mann’s heroics in Afghanistan. Exhibit will run Fri | Sat | Sun 12-5 June 1 – August 31, 2024.
Harmonious Exhibit
The "Harmonious" exhibit highlights an inspiring group of visual artists (see guest artists) who apply a wide range of mediums exploring the theme of harmony.
This exhibit also features a ‘gateway to serenity’ with the immersive installation "Portals to Peace" by L. Dolphin Brown and De Ann Christensen and a captivating short film, "Tea for Two," by the talented Mark Brennan.

SISTER GOLDEN HAIR The Band is an all-female-fronted cover band based in Central Texas that pays tribute to the harmony-rich hit songs of the ’60s and ’70s.
Inspired by a shared love of the golden age of modern songwriting, an affinity for classic LPs, and a passion for harmony, front-women Barbara Nesbitt, Wendy Colonna, and Emily Shirley are committed to creating an experience that brings audiences all the good feels of these classic, soundtrack songs.
Let's Get Surreal
This exhibit is meant to take you on a journey into the world of Surreal and Steampunk with Avant Garde art and new art mediums. To immerse you in an alternate reality, visually and experientially, through the artist’s and filmmaker’s incredible vision. There will be visual art from a total of fourteen artists, a new installation room experience and new short film - all of which I will introduce you to in the upcoming weeks!
